Hi there. My name is Connie Oestreich and I want to tell you a little about “me” and She Emerges’ coaching.
21 years ago I had a dream to become a Life Coach… but I obviously wasn’t ready. How do I know? Because it didn’t happen. I wasn’t the woman I needed to be to make it happen, and I stayed “not ready” for another 19 years.
The truth is it didn’t matter that I had been working for the FBI for 23 years, or that I owned my own home, had great friends, and a loving family. The reality was I still didn’t think I had what it took. I still felt average, mediocre, doubtful and unsure.
Fast forward and a lot has changed. I am now working full time as a Certified Life Coach, and loving every minute of it… even the crappy parts. LOL
So what happened in those 19 years that made the difference? That’s not the question. The question is what happened in the last year to year and a half.
What happened is SHE started to emerge! That woman I needed to become to feel up to the challenge and ready to make the shift, SHE finally made an appearance.
I had been doing the work however I could. I was listening to audio books and podcasts (the upside to SoCal traffic), AND I was getting coached! It was during this time that one of my coaches first introduced me to Her. Or really, provided me a tool to introduce her to myself. You could say it was kind of like a blind date. I wasn’t really sure what I would find or if I would even like her. But I agreed to meet… and it was love at first sight!
But, as with all relationships, it came with some challenges. How do you communicate between your selves in a loving and compassionate way? How do you trust the old you to create the new you? How do you overcome the fear of becoming someone you’ve never been? How do you know when it’s time relinquish control to the new you? These were all concerns I had but it wasn’t until I really started to get to know and connect with the woman I wanted to become, that I started to believe I could actually become her.
And THAT is what finally happened.
I have many stories I can share that paint a more vivid picture of my life and experiences leading up to this point. And I will gladly share. But for now, I want anyone reading this to know that, addiction, unhealthy relationships, dysfunctional families, molestation, severe anxiety, nor any other life experience can keep you from becoming HER. She is the best possible version of you, and she continues to get even better than that.
That is why I am here. This is what I am here to do. I am here to introduce YOU to your HER. I am here to coach and support you as you navigate this new relationship. I am here to guide you through the questions and confusion along the way. I am here to tell you it’s possible and to help you believe it yourself. They say, seeing is believing, so let me show her to you. She’s in there and she’s ready to emerge!
